Jeevan George

Jeevan George

Jeevan George

Jeevan graduated from La Trobe University with his Masters in Podiatric Practice in 2020. Jeevan's journey into healthcare was profoundly influenced by his rural upbringing in the Wimmera. Growing up in a close-knit community, he developed a deep appreciation for the interconnectedness of health and the importance of accessible healthcare services for all. Shortly after graduating, Jeevan found a strong calling to return to the rural setting. He undertook roles in both regional Hospitals and community health centers, and gained invaluable knowledge in treating chronic diseases.

Furthermore, Jeevan's passion for podiatry was further ignited by his personal experiences treating injuries sustained during his beloved sport of AFL. Through firsthand encounters with foot and ankle injuries on the field, he gained a nuanced understanding of the impact these issues can have on mobility and overall well-being. This practical insight fueled his commitment to helping others recover from lower limb injuries and maintain optimal foot health.

As Jeevan navigates his podiatric career, he remains driven in improving quality of life through expert foot care.  He takes pride in integrating his professional skills with his personal passion and a strong dedication to the welfare of the community.

Outside of his podiatry endeavors, he still participates in local football and cricket, and is recently experiencing  the harsh realities of involving in Muay Thai training. Jeevan also finds joy in travel, which has become not just an interest but a means to broaden his understanding of global health perspectives.

Patrick graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2019 with a degree in podiatry. His journey into podiatry was influenced by a lifelong passion for helping people and promoting healthy lifestyles. Growing up playing various sports like tennis, golf, and soccer,  Patrick developed a deep appreciation for the importance of lower limb health and its impact on overall well-being.

During his time at university and through his sports activities, Patrick became particularly interested in musculoskeletal injuries and the surgical aspects of podiatry, such as nail and verruca surgery. He found great satisfaction in using his podiatric skills to help individuals recover from injuries and enhance their quality of life. His compassionate nature and desire to empower others to achieve their goals through better health drove him to specialise in podiatry.

Before transitioning to podiatry, Patrick pursued a career in marine biology, drawn to the underwater world through his love for scuba diving. This background provided him with a unique perspective on biomechanics and physiology, which he now applies to his podiatric practice.

Outside of his professional life, Patrick remains active and engaged in his hobbies. He continues to play tennis regularly, finding joy in the sport's competitive and social aspects. Fishing is another passion that allows him to unwind and connect with nature. His love for scuba diving persists, providing him with opportunities to explore the ocean's wonders and maintain a deep connection to his marine biology roots.

Overall, Patrick's diverse interests, from sports and outdoor activities to his professional dedication to podiatry, reflect his commitment to health, wellness, and helping others lead fulfilling lives.
